Anyone can enter a public airfield as long as they have permission from the aircraft owner, an ASIC card, or have a valid reason to be there.
Currently CAC membership is an extortionate $500, with $110 being for membership, and $390 is involuntary revenue raising by a greedy club. Sadly, with the CAC, you get nothing for your membership money.
An awesome little aircraft. Easy to fly hourbuilder. To meet all the CASA and Insurance requirements, pilots must present: A current GA pilots license (min RPL) A current medical certificate A current BFR
Insurance also requires that all prospective hirers undertake a short check flight with an owner.
The hire rate is based on TACHO, wet hire, inc GST.
The syndicate and private hire operates as a non-profit with all funds allocated for the safety and maintenance of the aircraft.
The Syndicate consists of ten shares. Currently there are still shares available. A syndicate share holder is entitled to 33% reduced hire rates, ability to take the aircraft for extended periods, and a say in how the aircraft is operated and managed.
Share holders are not asked for any monthly, quartly, bi-annual, or annual fees, as long as the aircraft keeps flying, (about 2 hours per month each share) with the only outlay being the initial buy-in. The initial buy in period is for one year to maintain stability for the syndicate.
Contact the syndicate administration at -Ownership Enquiry - for more information about the benefits of owning an aviation asset.
